I created a training clock for the Edinburgh University Gymnastics Club to help track time during training sessions. It also displays upcoming events in the social/competitions calendar, which is synchronised with a central club spreadsheet. The clock is built with react and hosted using firebase.

Edinburgh's transport network was disrupted significantly during the pandemic. To quantify and visualise these changes we were able to use open data of the Edinburgh cycle share network to make some useful insights into the extent of changes in commuter habits and cycling in the city more generally.
The animated visualisation neatly illustrates some of the trends the team identified from the growth potential of leisure travel to poor cycle network connectivity between new and old town locations.

Beginning from a small gathering every Sunday on the streets of London, UKSD (UK Shuffle Dance) quickly grew to become the cultural nexus for a group of talented and diverse self-taught dancers that spanned the entire country, who sought and found community in dancing. The group now invites dancers internationally to attend meetups and teach and we have become a integrated part of an increasingly international community.
The website I created is an important step for the group in building a professional presence for our network of dancers and legitimising how we dance beyond an internet fad as a unique and fundamentally cosmopolitan dance style.

I was awarded the Scottish Baccalaureate for Science for investigating visible light as a medium for carrying super-fast wireless data. I built my own wireless message relay to demonstrate the concept and presented this at a seminar for new ideas in science.

  • Highest graded Baccalaureate for the Angus district 2019
  • Combined aspects of C, Arduino programming, signal processing, analogue electronics, and telecoms all of which I learned independently
